Sir,

I wish to report the good work done by the above on the 16th inst.

Going out to the farthest Point and bringing in a wounded man on his back under a terrific Machine Gun Fire.

Also attending to other wounded under heavy fire.

Also salvaging Machine Gun drum and taking them to another team when the first team got knocked out.

Also marking out gaps in the barbed wire with tapes.

He was still carrying on with the good work when we were digging in.
